Biography

Alessandra Galloni is an Italian journalist and the Editor-in-Chief of Reuters, a position she assumed in 2021. She oversees all editorial functions for the newsroom, which includes 2,500 journalists across 200 locations globally. Galloni made history as the first woman to serve as editor-in-chief in Reuters' 170-year history.

Born in Rome, Galloni graduated from Harvard University with a degree in government in 1995 and later earned a master's degree from the London School of Economics.
