Alberto G. Musalem is an American economist and financial market practitioner who serves as the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, a position he assumed on April 2, 2024.
He is recognized as the first Hispanic president of a regional Reserve Bank. In his role, Musalem regularly delivers public remarks and speeches on economic conditions and engages with communities within the Eighth Federal Reserve District.
