Biography

Alan Estevez is a senior advisor and a recognized leader in trade and export controls, as well as the aerospace and defense acquisition and logistics communities. He currently serves as a senior advisor to Covington & Burling Llp and other large companies. Estevez was confirmed by the Senate in March 2022 as the Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security, where he led US government efforts to protect US and allied technology from national security and foreign policy threats.
