Alan Blinder is an American economics professor at Princeton University, where he has been since 1971, currently holding the position of Gordon S. Rentschler Memorial Professor of Economics and Public Affairs. He is recognized as a leading macroeconomist and a champion of Keynesian economics and policies.
His academic work primarily focuses on monetary policy, central banking, and the "offshoring" of jobs. He also serves as Special Counsel at AustralianSuper.
