Alexander N. Green is an American lawyer and politician who has served as a U.S.

representative from Texas's 9th congressional district since 2005. A member of the Democratic Party, he is also a member of the United States House Committee on Financial Services. Prior to his congressional tenure, Green served as the justice of the peace of Harris County, Texas, from 1977 to 2004.
