Biography

Airlangga Hartarto is an Indonesian politician and businessman. He currently serves as the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs in President Prabowo Subianto's Red and White Cabinet. Prior to this, he was the chairman of the Golkar Party from 2017 to 2024.

Born in Surabaya, East Java, on October 1, 1962, Hartarto is the son of Hartarto Sastrosoenarto, an engineer and politician who served as a minister for former president Suharto.
