Agnes Callard is a Hungarian-American philosopher and an associate professor of philosophy at the University of Chicago. Born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1976, she later moved to the New York metropolitan area. Her academic focus lies in ancient philosophy and ethics. Callard is also known for her popular writings and contributions to public philosophy.
