Agnes Callamard is a French human rights activist currently serving as the Secretary General of Amnesty International. In this role, she established a new office for the Secretary General and previously led the program of gender-mainstreaming within the Amnesty Movement as its principal gender adviser.
Prior to her current position, Callamard held significant roles in international human rights organizations.
