Biography

Adena T. Friedman is the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Nasdaq, Inc., a position she has held since January 2017, making her the first woman to lead a global exchange. Friedman initially joined Nasdaq in 1993 as an unpaid intern and has spent a significant portion of her career with the company, returning in May 2014 as President of Global Corporate and Information Technology Solutions.
