Biography

Achim Steiner is a Brazilian-German environmentalist and public servant. He currently serves as the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), a position he has held since 2017, with his term extending until 2025. He also serves as vice-chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group.
