Abby Joseph Cohen is an American economist and financial analyst with a distinguished career spanning Wall Street and academia. She currently serves as a professor of business at Columbia Business School. Prior to her academic role, Cohen spent three decades at Goldman Sachs, where her positions included Chief Investment Strategist until March 2008 and later as leader of its policy-oriented Global Markets Institute, before her retirement from the firm in 2022.
